Angler's Choice BO-SLOW Drift Anchors (aka Drift Sock) are the ultimate for simplistic drift speed control when fishing. They are made in the USA with a super heavy duty build; double stitched, hand sewn, super tough reinforced vinyl.  These funnel shape drift socks has heavy nylon web wash-thru hole with a collapse/tab loop at the small end.  The large opening has 3 heavy duty tow straps.  Be sure to choose the right size for your boat. Drift anchor/socks are essential for drift control in windy conditions allowing for better management of conditions. They work like a parachute in the water slowing the boats rate of drift in windy conditions. There are many times, especially when winds are 12-20+ mph where two drift socks (one on stern and one on bow) can be used. Not only does it work to slow down drift speed but also helps keep the boat steads and stabilizes drift angle. Great to use for straight line drifting along banks or channels.

Drift socks are also an essential emergency item when in very rough weather and broken down, a drift sock deployed off the bow of the boat will turn the bow into the waves rather than have swell pounding on the stern of the boat.
