Bar's Head Gasket Sealant and Repair Additive 600 ml. As engines accumulate mileage, their components begin to wear over time and repetitive use. It is not uncommon for seals and gaskets to warp and crack due to extreme temperatures and pressures. Sometimes the physical damage extends to the combustion chamber, cylinder heads and cylinder walls, causing serious mechanical problems such as loss of compression, excessive exhaust smoke, loss of power and contamination of lubrication and cooling system fluids. It penetrates leaking, blown or damaged cylinder head gaskets and cools to provide a seal. Contains a combination of anti-freeze sodium silicate (liquid glass) and various sized sealing particles that penetrate gaps and crevices in the block and cooling system near the combustion chamber. It is recommended for use in vehicles that do not overheat or require a coolant fill after idling the engine for 15-30 minutes. Small leaks at the cylinder head gasket and block can be completely prevented by using this product. Shake the product well before adding. Add the entire contents directly to the radiator according to the dosing instructions. You can add it to the radiator hose or pressurised overflow tank if you do not have access to the radiator directly. Run the engine until it reaches normal operating temperature, then switch off the vehicle and allow it to cool down. Restart the vehicle and run it at high idle for 15 minutes. Turn the vehicle off and allow it to cool down before topping up the radiator. Treats up to 10 litres of coolant. Benefits : Sodium silicate liquid glass formula.
