- HOW TO MEASURE YOUR DOGS GIRTH (CHEST) BEFORE YOU ORDER! - With your other hand, wrap the tape measure behind his front legs and around his body, going underneath the widest part of his rib cage. Place this end next to the beginning of the tape. Put your thumb on the number that meets up with the beginning of the tape measure. The higher number is the girth measurement. If you are in between two sizes - choose the smaller of the two.
- ALL STRAP ADJUSTABLE SAFETY HARNESS - You will need to adjust the FenceMate to fit your dog properly. If it is not fitting properly after the adjustment you may have ordered the wrong size and the product will not be able to work to its potential. Keep your dog from escaping through the fence.

- SMALL DOG - Even though you think you have a small dog - dogs vary in size. Before you order you must measure the girth to make sure you are ordering the correct size. A simple tape measure will do the trick.
- FENCEMATE DESIGN - The design of Fencemate is light and comfortable. The Harness is adjustable from all straps. The patented balls are attached by a plastic zip tie item. We found other connectors either rusted or were not comfortable for the dog and its hair. If you do not like the balls, you still have a harness you can just cut the balls off - but your dog will be free to escape. We are a US based company that loves dogs and solved a problem of them escaping. FenceMate is not for all dogs - but we tried to make the fit for most.
- HOW TO PUT FENCEMATE ON YOUR DOG: After you have ordered the correct size and recieve the product in the mail. Open the harness buckle and let your pup step in the harness (the rings for the leash should be on the top of neck) tighten the straps to be comfortable for the dog, yet tight enought for safety.
