Ideal refractory mortar for joining or repairing masonry flue tiles in gas, wood, or pellet stove chimneys. Simply add water, mix, and apply to seal and join tiles. It can also serve as a parge coating for fireboxes, providing a smooth, dark gray finish. While not mandatory, heat curing enhances its strength.
- Available in: 10 lb. Pail or 2.5 lb. Tub
- Mix with water: 32 oz (10 lb) or 8 oz (2.5 lb)
- No heat curing needed
- Temperature resistance: Up to 2550°F (1400°C)
- Coverage (10 lb): 50 8" x 8" flue tiles or 30 9" x 4-1/2" x 1-1/4" firebricks (1,270 sq in, 1/8" thick)
