Product Description Heavy Duty Self Adjusting Gate Latches are designed for out-swinging doors and gates where a self closing latch is desired. Gate Latch Bar plate can be mounted on the gate or post for versatility. Can be used for left or right hand installations and can be used with a padlock for security. Latch Bar has 1" of vertical movement that helps compensate for gate sag. The small pre-drilled hole in the release lever is for rigging a cord (not included) that would release latch from opposite side of gate. Must drill a hole through post for rigging cord installation.
