Manos del Uruguay Alegria, meaning "joy" in Spanish, is a stunning hand dyed sock yarn blend of super soft merino and durable nylon. Available in a vibrant range of variegated and semi solid hand painted colorways, Alegria is created by artisans of fairly traded women's cooperatives in Uruguay. Easy-care with a rich, cushy hand, Alegria is perfect for socks, lightweight sweaters, baby garments and accessories. HAND DYED: Each skein is hand dyed and therefore unique. There is not another one quite like it. The images are representative of the color but please allow a little variation between skeins due to its hand dyed nature. MATERIAL: 75% Superwash Merino, 25% Polyamide YARDAGE: 425m/445yds per 100g skein. NEEDLES: US 2.5 (3.00mm / UK 11). GAUGE: 28 sts x 36 rows per 10cm
